Selen is an embroidered chiffon maxi dress from Roheenaz's Whispers of Grace collection in plum - the only ensemble in the range with fully hand embellished sleeves on chiffon, making the sleeve the signature handcraft zone of this long sleeve chiffon maxi dress rather than a secondary design element. Where most pieces in the collection reserve hand embellishment for the front yoke and kali panels, Selen inverts this priority: the sleeves are hand embellished alongside the front yoke, while the kali panels are worked across both front and back in embroidered sequinned chiffon in a combined front and back kali reference that gives the dress body a unified, fully embroidered surface throughout. An organza sleeves lace and an organza daman border frame the sleeve cuff and hemline respectively, while an organza finishing patti provides the final lower-edge detail of this formal chiffon maxi. The collection's standard net dupatta with organza dupatta border, a dyed undershirt, and a dyed raw silk lehenga complete this unstitched festive chiffon lehenga - the ensemble in Whispers of Grace most defined by the statement its sleeves make.

How to care for embroidered and formal outfits
- Dry clean: dry clean all formal, embroidered and embellished outfits to protect their finish and fine detailing.
- Do not machine wash: machine washing or hand washing can damage the fabric, embroidery and embellishments of delicate and stitched outfits.
- Air dry in the shade: never tumble dry. Drying away from direct sunlight helps the colours stay rich.
- Steam, or iron on low heat: steaming is best for delicate fabrics. If you need to iron, use a low heat setting and iron the outfit inside out.
- Keep heat away from embellishments: never iron or apply direct heat to sequins, beads, crystals, pearls or embroidery.
- Handle handwork gently: avoid wringing, twisting, scrubbing or pulling embroidered and embellished areas.
- Limit friction: rubbing against rough surfaces can loosen embellishments and snag delicate threads.
How to store your designer outfit
- Hang your outfit whenever you can, especially heavily embellished pieces, so it keeps its shape.
- Avoid tight folds over embroidered areas: lasting pressure can flatten or damage embellishments.
- Store it in a cool, dry place in a breathable garment bag.
Fabric care: chiffon, organza, silk, lawn, net and velvet
- Chiffon: light and delicate. Handle gently, and steam rather than iron whenever you can.
- Organza: iron on low heat only, without heavy pressure, to keep its crisp texture.
- Silk and silk blends: dry clean only. Keep away from water and long periods of direct sunlight to protect the colour and sheen.
- Lawn and cotton: can be lightly ironed on moderate heat. Very high temperatures can weaken the fabric.
- Net and embroidered fabrics: very delicate. Keep away from rough surfaces to prevent snagging.
- Velvet: never iron directly. Steam from a safe distance to refresh the pile without crushing it.
Spare embellishments
Where available, spare beads, sequins, tassels, buttons or other embellishments are included as a goodwill gesture for future repairs. Not every design includes spares.
